EKS CHANTILLY LACE

1989 Chestnut mare, no white markings. Chantilly won the Two Year Old Pleasure Driving Mares class at the New England Morgan Show and was headed for the park division before our farm relocation. Unfortunately, her career was cut short due to the move. She is now one of our best producing daughters of Delorian and is the dam of EKS Ruffles'N Lace (by Eagle Command). Three crosses to Deerfield Challenger make her a trotting machine who passes this on with great consistency.  She will be bred to EKS Showboat in 2006

CENTURY CONTESSA

1983 Bay mare, no white markings. Contessa was one of our most important broodmatrons, being the dam of two-time Grand National Champion EKS Desert Night, EKS Unforgetable, EKS Dance To The Music, EKS Black Satin, EKS Silk 'N Satin, EKS Satisfaction, and EKS Desiree all by Dumar's Delorian. Also the dam of EKS Valtessa (by FCF Val d'Isere). A daughter of Appleton Baroness, one of Trudy Case's greatest producing mares and the dam of World Champion Mare Century Enjolie, now also a producer of World Champions for Stonecroft Farm. She passed on to greener pastures in May of 2002.

HEAVENS LADY ANGELEA

1984 Chestnut mare with a star. Angel is a good producer of trot, and she comes by it very honestly as a daughter of the Trophy son, Montbelle Trophy, and she is out of the charismatic Brentwood Lady Lea. Brentwood Lady Lea is the full sister to Brentwood Bicardi and Brentwood Lady Magic.  She is the dam of our EKS Zsa Zsa, a grand producer in her own right, as well as EKS Thunder'N Lightning and EKS Stormin Norman. Her 2000 filly, EKS Elegance (by FCF Esprit de Lark Esprit) is black, beautiful and very talented. Angel was bred to Up-Hyre T n T for 2006.

EKS DANCE TO THE MUSIC

1993 Black mare with no white markings. Music has just entered the broodmare ranks here and started off with a bang. Her 2003 bay gelding by Eagle Command is very uphead and for sale at this time.. This full sister to Grand National Champion EKS Desert Night looks to be all we had hoped for as a producer. She will be bred back to EKS Showboat in 2006.

EKS BLACK SATIN

1994 Black mare with no white markings. Satin is a full sister to Music (above), and in 1999 produced a spectacular bay colt by Eagle Command, EKS In The Mood. She just produced a very special bay filly, also by Eagle Command, and is bred to EKS Showboat for 2006..

O PRECIOUS PROMISES

1981 Chestnut mare, connected diamond star, narrow strip, small snip, both hind stockings. Promises has been one of our very best producers. Her foals were generally sold before they reached the yearling stage. The golden cross of Brunk and Government produced a four-cornered trot that was the envy of all who saw her. After several nice foals by Eagle Command (see Precious Moments at right), Promises produced a very gifted filly in 1999 by Delorian, EKS Cambiare(at right), and so of course we bred her back! Pictured below is her 2001 filly by Dumar's Delorian, who we think is very special. 

We are very sad to announce that Promises left us on May 19th, 2001.   Her last daughter by Dumar's Delorian,  EKS Promises to Remember, has been sold to Brian Smith of Greenville, SC.

EKS RUFFLES'N LACE

1994 Chestnut mare with star, strip, left fore pastern with distal spots. Ruffles is a wonderful bodied mare with a round, floating trot. She should make a very special broodmare with her linebred Trophy, linebred Deerfield Challenger and Waseeka's Nocturne. She is currently available for purchase.

EKS ZSA ZSA

1989 Chestnut mare, no white markings. She has since found her niche as a special broodmare at EKS. Her pedigree is a textbook example of close linebreeding, with Fleetwing (Black River Major and Erin's Lady Maureen), Deerfield Challenger (the Dee-Cee mares) and Trophy. We are pleased with the quality she has produced, including the promising  gelding EKS Can't Repeat It, our sire, EKS Showboat and his full brother, EKS Showstopper.. She is in foal to Aboria Noble Victor for 2006.

1985 Chestnut mare. Lace has been a great producer for us, being the dam of our good producer EKS Chantilly Lace. Linebred Deerfield Challenger, her foals are trotting machines.
